What we do and who we are

The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is the public body that protects workplace pensions in the UK. We work with employers and those running pensions so that people can save safely for their retirement.

Making workplace pensions work

Our new approach to regulating workplace pensions.

We offer a modern working environment with a focus on high performance and delivery of worthwhile results.

The Board

The Board of The Pensions Regulator meets around eight times a year and is made up of the Chair, non-executive members, the Chief Executive and executive directors.

How we regulate and enforce

The regulatory powers now available to The Pensions Regulator enable us to be more effective at dealing with risks to pension schemes and members' benefits, and to tackle these risks in a focused, targeted and proportionate manner.
